Link Command is a full featured professional link management utility built by webmasters for webmasters.
Link Command allows subscribers to:
- Process link requests through an online 'Add a link' form.
- Qualify links from other websites.
- Manage 1, 2, and 3 way links.
- Approve, Change, Decline or Block link requests.
- Display outbound links by alphabetical or chronological order, and by category.
- Automatically create new link pages that have a ZERO/ZERO search engine footprint.
- Validate links to your website on-demand.
Unlike other link management programs, the basic Link Command services are FREE, and your information is secure - your subscription information will not be sold or otherwise distributed. For a closer look, mouse over the Link Command Process icons.
GUEST
There are many types of guests that come to your website, many are there examining your products and services. Others may be webmasters, looking for relevant websites for cross-linking purposes.
ADD A LINK
Guests who examine a Link Command link page will see an unobtrusive and user configurable link that says something like "add a link". The link anchor text is customizable and the message is coded in an off page .js file with a unique file name. This approach gives Link Command subscribers what we call a "ZERO/ZERO" FOOTPRINT. So there is never a chance of Link Command subscribers having a unique search engine 'footprint'.
- Customizable "add a link" message
- Off-Page, uniquely named .js file JavaScript
- ZERO/ZERO FOOTPRINT
Notify Link Partner
When a subscriber decides the disposition of a pending link, the subscriber can choose to send an email notification of the details to the partner. Likewise, subscribers can set disposition and choose not to send an email notification.
- Email notice at the discretion of the subscriber
- Available 24/7
- Block specific guests
Pending Links Report
Subscribers may view link requests in either a Quick or Tour mode.
Quick mode allows users to set the disposition of a pending link - one at a time or batch mode.
Tour mode allows subscribers to view the pending link partner's website within an iFrame. In this way, subscribers can inspect the pending link partner's website and navigate to critical areas, including validate the presence of their link.
Subscribers may move freely between Quick and Tour mode.
- Easy access to pending links
- 2 Viewing modes
- Set disposition one at a time or batch mode
NOTIFY_SUBSCRIBER
When Link Command receives a link submission, subscribers are notified by email of a pending link. Subscribers may configure the frequency of notification: Never or once every 1-7 days.
Approve/Modify/Decline/Block
Suscribers may set the disposition of each pending link.
You can even Block a specific Guest by domain so Guests who repeatedly submit the "add a link" form will no longer appear in the Pending Link Report.
The
Change function allows subscribers to modify the anchor text, description and/or URL.
Add to Database
Link requests that have been processed through the Pending Link Report are stored in Link Command's database. Subscribers can view and edit links by campaign or sub-campaign (if active).
Generate Revised Link Page
Every time there is a change to your links, Link Command generates a new link page on-demand.
Upload Method
Link Command gives subscribers 2 methods of receiving revised outbound link pages. The first method is FTP. It is automatic and transparent. Revised outbound link pages are compiled on-demand and uploaded to your site.
However, subscribers may choose to receive updates by email attachment. Subscribers can check the code and post the revised pages manually. This method does not require FTP access.
- FTP
- HTML files in email Attachment
HTML Attachment
Subscribers who choose to receive updated link pages by email can upload the link pages at their discretion.
- On-demand link page updates
SUBSCRIBER
If there is more than one website in the same account, a 3-way link can be configured and maintained.
- Multiple websites per account
- Multiple campaigns per website
- 3 way linking management
Link Page Template
A link page template is whatever you want it to be. It can be your website template with all your standard navigation, or a special page template just for your link pages. Your template is what Link Command uses to create a new outbound link page. Simply place a single line of code (similar to an include statement) into the template, paste the HTML code into Link Command and Link Command fills in your outbound links.
In the control panel, you may define the maximum number of links to appear on any one page. If you have more links, Link Command will automatically produce additional pages.
Your links can be sorted in several different ways:
- Alphabetical
- Chronological
... and displayed in your choice of categories
Setup and Control Panel
This area of Link Command gives subscribers an easy method of importing their existing links and extensive control over the management of their link building campaign(s).
- Add a campaign
- Link Page management
- Upload Method
- Number of Links per Page
- FTP details
- Email management
- Catagory management
Link Verification
Link Verification is included with each Link Command subscription. Subscribers can manually activate a verification crawl on-demand so results are displayed in a matter of minutes.
If Link Command cannot find your outbound link on the Link Partner's page, Link Command will flag the link as 'BROKEN'. Subscribers may choose to manually verify this condition, edit the 'Top Level Link Page' (the starting point of Link Command's crawl) or delete the link. If deleted, Link Command will on-demand produce modified link pages and exclude your deleted links.
If Link Command finds your link, it will automatically update the link location in the database.
